Mahakam production higher than target

Total E&P Indonesie, the operator of Mahakam block, reported that as of March 14, production from the block averaged 69,000 bpd of oil and 1,780 mmscfd of gas.
The gas production represented a 112 percent of target set under 2013?s Work Plan and Budget (WP&B) at 1,577 mmscfd, said Kristanto Hartadi, Head of Media Relations Department in a statement on Thursday.
The oil production meanwhile, matched the target set by the WP&B.
It was also an improvement from last year, when gas production averaged 1,773 mmscfd and oil 65,900 bpd.
