Major oil producers set lower production target in 2012

Thirteen major oil producers set combined oil production target of 785,530 barrels of oil per day (bopd) in 2012, lower than preliminary data on 2011 realized production, data from the upstream oil and gas regulator BPMIGAS shows.

Some producers set lower target, such as Chevron Pacific Indonesia,Total E&P and ConocoPhillipos, while companies that set higher target are Pertamina, PHE ONWJ and PetroChina Int. (Jabung) Ltd.(godang)
