Major reshuffle to take place at Pertamina soon: Source

A major reshuffle will take place at the state-owned oil and gas firm Pertamina soon, according to a source.

The source said Friday that most of the current company directors would be replaced, while incumbent president Baihaki Hakim might still retain his position.

The source, however, added there was also a possibility that former Pertamina director for management production sharing (MPS) Gatot K. Wirojudo to take over Baihaki?s position.

The source said that the reshuffle would take place after President Megawati Soekarnoputri returned from her up coming overseas trip in the region.

The source said that Sutadi, a senior official at Pertamina, would be appointed as company financial director, replacing Ainun Naim.

Former marketing director Harry Purnomo will be named as downstream director, replacing Muchsin Bahar.

Current upstream director Iin Arifin Takhyan will be appointed as the director for MPS, replacing Effendi Situmorang. Trijana, a senior company offiial, will be named as the new upstream director.

Director of development will still be held by Bardi Machraman.(alex/godang)
