Malaysia, China firms eyeing Indonesia power business

Malaysian construction and engineering firm Pasukhas Group Berhad announced on Wednesday that its unit, Pasukhas Energy Sdn Bhd had on 30 May 2017 entered into an MOU with PT. CHD Power Plant Operation Indonesia to jointly explore opportunities in power generation project(s) in Indonesian market.

PT. CHD is a subsidiary company of China Huadian Corporation. PT CHD?s business includes operations, maintenance, repair, technical service and spare parts supply power generators in Jakarta. PT CHD specializes in the operation of the power plant, which was established by the state-owned electricity giant in China's hydropower project in Lahat, South Sumatra.

The MOU, according to Pasukhas is effective for the period of up to 2 years.
