Malaysia?s YFGE to develop hydro power plant in Banten

Malaysia?s YFG Engineering Sdn Bhd (YFGE) has won a contract from Indonesia?s PT Impha to construct a 12 MW hydro power plant at Cimandiri, Lebak Regency, Banten Province.

YFGE said in a statement on Tuesday the two companies signed a memorandum of agreement for the project on February 7.

?PT Impha has conducted a feasibility study on the Proposed Project and has approached the local government authorities in Indonesia where the location of the Proposed Project shall be implemented, including local State Electricity Company, who will be the buyer of generated electricity power. The design drawings of the Proposed Project is subject to the approval of the local government authorities in Indonesia,? YFGE said.

The company said that the February 7 agreement shall remain in full force and effect for a period of 2 years from the date of signing and/or any further extension of time as mutually agreed by the two companies.
