Malaysian firm gets $12.75m coal port works

Malaysian firm Malaysian AE Models Holdings Berhad announced on Wednesday that it wholly-owned subsidiary AE Automotion (M) Sdn Bhd has been awarded by South by ?leading coal mining company based in Indonesia? a US$12.75 million contract for the design, construction, fabrication and Coal Handling Facilities (CHF) of Asam-Asam Port in South Kalimantan.

The scope of work include the design check and development, fabrication and supply of CHF, civil and earthworks, piling works, mechanical and structural and electrical work for the Asam-Asam, the company said.

The duration of the Project is for 18 months, commencing from 23 June 2008.(alex)
