Mamahak project produces 40,000 tons per month

IDX-listed coal company PT Bayan Resources Tbk said that its Mamahak project located near Mahakam River in East Kalimantan produced monthly output of 40,000 tons.

The company having four concession in the area is gearing up to ramp up production by making investment on infrastructure.

Manager Operations and Technical of Bayan Resources Duncan Buchanan in his presentation at the Kalimantan Coal Conference said that one of Mamahak concessions has deposit of 10.5 million tons of JORC Resources.

The 3 other concessions have not been drilled yet.

The coal is categorized as semi-soft coking coal.
