Upstream authority SKK Migas and BP Plc have agreed that three state owned banks, namely Mandiri, BRI, BNI, will participate in providing syndicated loan for the development of Train 3 at the Tangguh LNG plant in West Papua.
?What makes us happy is that BP welcomes an involvement of national banks (in the development of Train 3). National banks are ready to become paying agent (for Tangguh LNG plant),? SKK Migas? Chairman Rudi Rubiandini said on Friday.
BP, a British energy firm, is the leader of the Tangguh consortium that owns the Tangguh LNG plant. The consortium plans to build a third train at the plant.
