Mandiri Intiperkasa expects higher coal output this year

PT Mandiri Intiperkasa (MIP) is expecting to produce around 3.8-4 million tons of coal in this year, up from last year?s total output of 3.2 million tons, an industrial source told Petromindo.com.
At present, the company has several trading customers including Adani, Suek and Glencore, the source said. However, MIP does not have long-term contracts with its existing buyers, the source added.

Mandiri Intiperksa is a second generation CCoW and is located in Nunukan and Tanah Tidung regency, East Kalimantan. The calorific value of its coal is 5,200 kcal/kg (GAR) with 1-1.2 percent total sulphur.
