Manipulation in PLN's IT project may inflict losses of Rp 114 billion

A non-governmental organization Masyarakat Peduli Listrik (FMPL) has accused that a manipulation in state owned electricity company PLN's Information and Technology project has inflicted losses of up to Rp 114.35 billion to the state, Kompas reported on Friday.

The organization said that the manipulation or more popularly called "mark-up" practices took place on the procurement of IT equipment in PLN's unit in charge for Tangerang and Jakarta.

PLN's spokesman Ario Subijoko, said that the alleged manipulation in the company's IT project was an old issue. "The case has been submitted to the office of the supreme court," he added. (*)
