Marunda Graha to produce 1.5mt high cv and semisoft coking coal

Indonesia coal producer PT Marunda Graha Mineral is targeting to produce about 1.5 million tons of high CV thermal coal (7,100 Kcal) and semi-soft coking coal from its mine in Central Kalimantan.
A company source told petromindo.com Monday that production composition between high CV thermal and semi soft coking coal remains at 50:50, unchanged from last year.
The output is mostly exported to Japan, China, India, Korea and Europe.
The source said that the bearish of the low rank coal prices market has also impacted to the high CV coal market.
"There is a reduction of company's revenue," he said adding that the company has not yet decided on next year's production target amid current market uncertainty.
