Marunda Grahamineral: PQ invitation for coal stockpile, crushing, barge load

1. PT. Marunda Grahamineral (MGM), a coal mining company in Central Kalimantan, intends to prequalify contractors and select qualified contractors to participate in tender for its coal stockpile, crushing and barge load out facilities expansion project, situated alongside Barito river.

2. The main works, among other works, are construction of coal stockpile, hopper & crushing plant, stacker belt conveyor & tripper, draw down hopper & coal load out conveyor to barge including tunnel structure, coal barge jetty, workshop & warehouse and other supporting facilities.

3. The estimate month for invitation to bid from the pre qualified participants is November 2011.

4. The contract will be on EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) basis.

5. This prequalification is open to firms and voluntarily formed joint operation of contractors, who are registered under the Indonesian Rules and Regulations.

6. The minimum requirement for interested participants is to have average turnover for similar projects in the last 5 (five) years as follows:
Individual participants: over Three hundred and fifty (350) billion Rupiah.
Joint-Operation Participants:
- Lead partner: over two hundred and ten (210) billion Rupiah
- Other partner/s: over ninety (90) billion Rupiah
so that the total for the JO is over three hundred and fifty (350) billion Rupiah.

7. The interested participants shall submit a letter of interest to MGM Engineering Team at email address contact-eng@mgmcoal.com not later than 17.00 hours of the Western Indonesia Standards Time (WIB), on September 19, 2011.

The letter must clearly state ?Prequalification for Coal Stockpile, Crushing and Barge Load Out Facilities Expansion Project? at Jamut in Central Kalimantan.

8. Pre-qualification documents will be distributed to applicants no later than 17.00 hours of the Western Indonesia Standards Time (WIB) on September 21, 2011 by e-mail to applicant?s e-mail address shown in the letter of interest.

9. Completed Prequalification documents are be submitted in sealed envelope/s, delivered by hand to the MGM Engineering Team at address shown in the prequalification document, not later than 16:00 hours of the Western Indonesia Standard Time (WIB) on October 21, 2011.
