The Matindok Central Processing Plant (CPP) in Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi, managed by PT Pertamina EP (PEP), a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has not been able to operate at full capacity on May 1 as initially scheduled due to technical problems, according to a top official of the firm.
"Not yet (fully operational) because there are still technical problems that are currently under repair," PEP Acting President Director Nanang Abdul Manaf told Petromindo.com on Wednesday.
He hopes that within the next few days the Matindok CPP can achieve full capacity.
The Matindok CPP has recently started production at rate of 40 mmscfd of gas. PEP initially planned to rump up production to 65 mmscfd by May 1.
The Matindok CPP, together with PEP?s Donggi CPP, receives gas from the Matindok block.
