PT Pertamina EP (PEP), a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, said that the Matindok Central Processing Plant (CPP) in Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi, is expected to be on-stream in early April, supplying gas to the Donggi Senoro LNG plant and eventually to state-owned electricity firm PT PLN.
?Pertamina EP has two CPPs, namely the Donggi CPP which has been on stream since April 2016 and Matindok CPP which will be on stream in early April (this year). The two CPPs will produce gas around 105 mmscfd and condensates around 850 bopd with investment of US$762 million,? said Development Director of PEP Herutama Trikoranto on Wednesday.
He said that the two CPPs have signed contract with PT Donggi Senoro LNG (DSLNG) for the supply of 85 mmscfd of gas through to 2027. Meanwhile, PLN is expected to start absorbing 20 mmscfd of gas in the middle of 2020.
?We have obtained information that PLN will absorb gas from CPP Matindok for 150 MW PLTGU (gas-fired power plant),? he said.
The Matindok and Donggi CPPs obtain gas supply from the Matindok block.
