MBSS, BIB extend transhipment deal

Integrated coal transport & logistics services company PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati (MBSS) and South Kalimantan coal miner PT Borneo Indobara (BIB) has agreed to extend their coal transhipment agreement from Bunati and Abidin jetty ports at Satui, South Kalimantan to the transshipment point for another 2 years.

The 2-year extension contract has started since Jan 1, 2012, which will be valid until Dec 31, 2014.

The extended contract did not mention coal volume to be transhipped, but under previous contract, the guaranteed minimum amount of coal from Borneo is 1.2 million tons per year.

The previous deal is effective from April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012.

A CCoW license holder, Borneo Indobara is a coal mining unit of Sinarmas Group?s PT Golden Energy Mines (GEMS).
