MBSS books a 9.5% revenue growth

IDX-listed integrated coal transport & logistics services provider PT Mitra Bahtera Segara Sejati Tbk (MBSS) reported a 9.5% revenue growth to USD 36.8 million in the first quarter this year compared with the same period in 2012.

Rico Rustombi, President Director of MBSS said that growth was driven by the increase income from floating cranes which about 56.9 % or equal to USD 11.3 million.

"The growth is contributed by the operation of two new floating cranes which are of FC Blitz make and began operating in May 2012, and FC Vittoria which began operation in December 2012). The growth of these floating cranes are able to drive the Company?s EBITDA in Q1-2013 grew by 13.7% or USD 18.3 million," he said on a press statement made available to Petromindo.com..

As of March 2013, the company has 82 tug boats, 75 barges, 7 floating cranes, 1 cement vessel, and 1 support vessel.
