MBSS, PTBA not to extend their 2-year transhipment contract

IDX-listed barging and transshipment firm PT Mitra Bahtera Segara Sejati Tbk, (MBSS) and IDX-listed coal miner PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA) have agreed not to extend their 2-year coal transportation contract.
The contract to transport coal from loading dock at Kertapati coal port in Palembang, South Sumatra to 4300 MW Suralaya power plant in Banten expired in Oct. 2012.
