MBSS revenue down 1.2% on lower coal transport volume

IDX-listed sea logistics and transshipment services company PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk (MBSS), a subsidiary of IDX-listed integrated energy company PT Indika Energy Tbk, saw revenue in the first-half of this year declined slightly by 1.2 percent to US$32.7 million from $33.1 million the same six-month period of last year.

?Coal volumes transported by barging declined 12.0 percent to 9.9 million tons and transshipment volumes declined 16.3 percent to 5.4 million tons,? Indika said in a statement on Wednesday, but did not provide further details.

MBSS is a leading Indonesian provider of integrated one-stop sea logistics and transportation solutions for bulk materials, particularly coal. MBSS is part of the Indika Energy group.
