MCL?s operations not affected by Kelud mount eruption

Mobile Cepu Limited (MCL) said the recent eruption of Mount Kelud in East Java has not affected operation and production activities in the Cepu block.

?The volcanic ash from the mountain reached the operation area of the Cepu block, but this did not affect our operation and production activity,? VP of Public Relations and Government Affairs at ExxonMobil, Erwin Maryoto, to Petromindo.com on Monday.

Meanwhile, Head of Communications and Protocol at SKK Migas Zudaldi Rafdi told Petromindo.com that although most of PSCs in Bojonegoro and Tuban were hit by the Kelud volcanic ash and had banned their employees from travelling to Surabaya, their production operations activities are still normal.
