McLaren into Indonesian CBM exploration deal

Ontario-based firm McLaren Resources Inc. announced thursday it has partnered with PT Ephindo of Indonesia and Far East Methane LLC of Denver, Colorado to explore for Coal Bed Methane (CBM) in South Sumatra.

Under the terms of McLaren's agreement, McLaren will earn 63% of PT Ephindo's interest in a 99,000 hectare property in South Sumatra by performing exploration and development work.

McLaren President Michael Meredith said: "We are very pleased to participate with PT Ephindo and Far East Methane in exploring CBM in South Sumatra and are looking forward to the expertise brought into the partnership by PT Ephindo and Far East Methane." (alex)
