MDK field in Madura Strait block to onstream in 2017

Upstream authority SKK Migas expects that the MDK gas field in the Madura Strait block offshore East Java which is operated by Husky-CNOOC Madura Ltd. will come onstream in 2017.
?Husky-CNOOC is still making FEED (front end engineering and design) for the MDK gas field,? SKK Migas Spokesperson Rudianto Rimbono told Petromindo.com.
He said, the field will produce approximately 24 mmscfd of gas.
The Plan of Development (PoD) for the MDK gas field was approved by SKK Migas in July 18, 2014, according to Rudianto.
