MEC ? COAL: Invitation for expression of interest

MEC-Coal is coming up wills a project in the East Kalimantan of Indonesia, consisting of Coal Mines, Railway Infrastructure, Port and Coal Handling Plants and hereby would like to invite Expression of interest for the following Supply & Services for Rail and Port

Infrastructure that would support in developing of coal operation and mate Interested companies with the relevant experience, capabilities and applicable Indonesian permits to participate in Pre Qualification process

The Supply and Services will ultimately consist of:
a. General Mining work like drilling, excavation, stripping, hauling etc.
b. Coal Handling System (Mine & Port Site)
c. Marine Work - Construction Jetty & Back up area
d. Power Plant and Transmission
e. Water Treatment & Sewage treatment
f. Tank farm for fuel at Mine and Port
g. Airstrip/Helipad
h. Road & Bridge Construction
i. Fire fighting system

General Pre Qualification Requirements
1. Companies interested in participating in Expression of interest for the above service and supply are invited to register by submitting an original letter signed by an authorized officer of the company complete with the following Information and documents:
a. Description line business of company, parent company, and consortium or incorporated joint venture as applicable for the above supply and services.
b. Statement attesting that company is not in court dispute
c. Documents minimum required included copies of the following valid documents. Any additional documentation required to be obtained by companies in order to perform the supply and services shall be solely companies responsibilities cost.
i. SIUP
ii. Company?s article of association and Company Profile
iii. Latest Financial Statements Audited to demonstrate financial capability to perform the services & supply.
iv. Tax Payer Identification Number
v. Valid statement of tax payment for the previous year as an evidence of payment of latest annual taxes.
vi. Proven track and record in the involvement of supply and services of the project as mentioned above (at least 5 years experience).
vii. Contractor?s Environment, Health and Safety policy and program

2. Interested companies sisal submit the requirements as mentioned above and must state that all Information submitted for the Expression of interest is true and accept disqualification if information submitted is found to be not true.

3. By submitting an Expression of interest each company acknowledges that neither the company nor MEC intends to create any contract or relationship under which MEC is legally obliged to conduct the tendering process following this Expression of interest MEC reserve the right to accept or reject at its sole discretion any or all Expression of Interest with or without assigning any reason whatsoever
