Medco abandons Senoro-Toili delineation well

Indonesian listed energy firm PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk reported on Monday that it had plugged and abandoned Cendanapura-2 delineation well in Senoro-Toili PSC onshore Central Sulawesi.

The well, which was spudded in September 2010, was drilled to the maximum depth of 6,531 feet. The well was plugged and abandoned after the company failed to find positive results, the company said in statement.

Medco has spent US$4.16 million for drilling of the well.

Senoro-Toili PSC is jointly operated by state-owned oil, gas firm PT Pertamina and Medco. (denny)
