Medco can't say when to resume production in Yemen

IDX-listed energy company PT MedcoEnergi International Tbk has yet to resume production activities at its blocks in Yemen following suspension last year due to worsening security condition.

President Director of PT Medco E&P, an upstream subsidiary of IDX-listed PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk, told Petromindo.com Wednesday that it is difficult to predict when production can be resumed amid political conflict in the country.

In addition to Yemen, Medco has a number of oil and gas assets overseas including in Tunisia, Libya, Oman, Papua New Guinea, and the Gulf of Mexico off the US coast. It also operates nine oil and gas blocks in Indonesia.
