Medco Energy wins two prestigious awards from oil and gas council of Singapore

(January 24, 2017)--PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MedcoEnergi) won an APAC Deal of The Year Award from Oil & Gas Council in Singapore in an Asia Pacific Assembly Dinner on 18 ? 19 January 2017. At the same night, Roberto Lorato, CEO MedcoEnergi also received an APAC Executive of The Year Award.
This year?s award was given to MedcoEnergi for the company?s success in the smooth acquisition of South Natuna Sea Block B. Meanwhile, the award for Roberto was given for his success across last year in conscientiously pioneering new frontiers, pushing boundaries, inspiring others and for achieving growth in challenging markets.
The awards are voted ?for industry, by industry? through a strong Committee made up from the heads of Oil & Gas across all services industries (banking, consultancy, legal, oilfield services), as well as, a select group of O&G executives and investors. Aside from receiving the award, Medco Energi CEO participated as a speaker on the Merger & Acquisition panel.

Roberto Lorato has gained over 30 years of experiences in Oil & Gas through a variety of roles domestically and internationally. He managed a number of prestigious international oil & gas companies namely Premier Oil, Eni Indonesia, Vico and Agip, UK. He has also been an active member of the IPA Board of Directors and was elected President of the Association for the years 2008 and 2009. (ends)
