Medco EP says crude oil delivery from Meta field runs normally

PT Medco EP Indonesia said the delivery of crude oil via trucking means from Meta field within South Sumatera Extension (SSE) block has so far operated smoothly. The company has not seen any threat that could disrupt the delivery of crude oil via land transportation means.

Earlier, Chairman of BPMIGAS R. Priyono warns that Medco?s field in South Sumatera may post potential production loss due to land transportation problem.

?The transportation of oil via trucking system from Metal field in SSE block still runs as normal. We continue to coordinate with the local government to prevent potential disruptions, in particular related the trucking transportation means,? spokesperson of PT Medco EP Indonesia, Joang Laksanto, told Petromindo.com.
