Medco evacuates 3 employees from Libya

National energy giant Medco has evacuated three employees from Libya in the wake of political crisis in the Middle East country.
Medco president director Budi Basuki said the move on Wednesday followed uprising in Libya.
?Medco has anticipated and immediately evacuated employees from the country,? he said, without elaborating.
Lukman Mafhfud said Medco Internasional Venture Limited (MIVL) which operates Libya Area 47 block employs 80 staff, with 85 percent of them Libya nationals. The local staff will continue working in Medco office in Tripoli.
Some of the employees are conducting exploration drilling works to find new oil wells. (godang)
