Indonesia's largest listed oil and gas firm PT Medco Energi Tbk said on Friday it was considering raising in excess of $100 million through a bond issue to finance acquisitions.

"In excess of $100 million. As I have said, an external financing will be used for acquisition," Medco's spokesman, Gamala V. Katoppo told Reuters when asked about the size of the issue.
