JSX-listed oil and gas firm Medco Energi Internasional said on Tuesday it was not aware about Pertamina?s plan to build small LNG plant in Central Sulawesi together with Medco.
?Medco is not aware of the plan,? said Medco?s Chief Growth Officer Rashid Mangunkusumo. ?But I?ll check with Medco E&P Indonesia (MEPI),? he added. MEPI is Medco?s E&P arm.
Pertamina?s vice president director Mustiko Saleh on Monday told reporters that it plan to develop 2MTPA LNG plant in Senoro-Toli and Donggi blocks. Medco and Pertamina are 50 percent interest holders in Senoro Toili. Pertamina has 100 percent interest in Donggi.
Medco has already planned to build 800,000 tones PA mini-LNG plant in Senoro-Toili. (godang)
