Medco offers high CV coal to potential buyers

PT Medco Energi Mining Internasional is looking for potential buyers to buy the coal from its coal mine unit PT. Duta Tambang Rekayasa (DTR) in Simengaris, Nunukan regency.

DTR will start first coal production in early 2012 with a capacity of 40,000 tonnes per month of high CV coal, the company?s head of business development, Hary Kristiono told Petromindo.Com

Location : Nunukan Regency, East Kalimantan Province.

Tenement :IUP of 1,700Ha up to 2017, Enviromental Permit of 1,700Ha, Feasibility Study Approval of 1,700Ha, Forestry Permit for Exploration of 1,700Ha, Agreement with Adindo Hutani Lestari as Land Owner, Forestry Permit (IPP) of 513,8 Ha.

Coal Quality :TM 6%, IM 4%, Ash 9%, FC 43%, VM 44%, TS 3%, CV 6800GAD (all in ADB, except TM), HGI 48, AFT 12500C Reducing, Low Slagging & Fouling Index (attached typical spec)

Port Load Out :Private Port Type owned by Medco, Crushing Plant 300tph Cap, Barge Loading 1,000 tph Cap, Draft 4.0 m for 270ft Barge.

Barging :Barging 80 km (43 NM) to Nunukan Anch (URL : 3-59?-0 N/117-53?-0 E) with draft 14 m, Loading rate Gear Vessel 8,000 tpd.

Delivery :Start in Jan?2012 (Barge) and Ramp Up to Full Cap in June 2012 (40,000 +/- 10%)
