Medco, PIM negotiating terms for sales, transport of gas from Block A

PT Medco E&P Indonesia is still in the process of negotiation with fertilizer firm PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM) over the price and transportation of gas from Block A in East Aceh, Aceh.

Development Director of Medco EP Eka Satria Djalins told Petromindo.com Wednesday that the terms of the gas sales agreement (GSA) and gas transport agreement (GTA) will determine the development the Alur Siwah (AS) and Alur Rambong (AR) gas fields within the Block A, as well as affect the final investment decision (FID) of the block.

?AS and AR will be drilled after the FID of the project has been completed, which means after the GSA and GTA with PIM have been signed,? he said.
