Medco plans to issue MTNs

IDX-listed energy company PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk is planning to issue medium term notes (MTN) worth up to S$500 million in Singapore.
?The company has a program to issue MTNs worth S$500 million which has been registered with the SGX last week,? said Finance Director Lanny Wong on Monday, but did not provide further details.
Elsewhere, Lanny said that the company is also seeking new bank loans to refinance about US$144 million worth of debts maturing this year. ?We?re currently in negotiation with local banks,? she said, adding that the company was looking for loans carrying lower interest rate.
