Medco ramps up gas supply for PGN

Medco EP, a unit of IDX-listed energy firm PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk has started flowing additional supply of 10 MMCFD on Thursday from its South Sumatra Extension (SSE) block onshore South Sumatra to state gas distribution firm PGN to be piped to West Java.
Medco EP President Budi Basuki said on Thursday that gas supply from SSE to PGN now stood at 30MMCFD and will be ramped up to 40 MMCFD in the coming weeks.
Budi said PGN and Medco has agreed on additional gas supply from April to December 2010 period at price of US$4.2 per MMBTU.(bernard)
