Medco ready to resume operation in Libya

Jakarta listed oil and gas firm PT Medco Energi International plans to soon resume operation in Libya where the company holds an oil development project in the so-called Area 47.
Lukman Mahfoedz, President Director of Medco Energi, said about 60 of the company?s Libyan workers can return to work this week after a temporary shut down in the operation of the project in the wake of recent armed conflict in Libya.
?We?re making preparations to resume the operation of Area 47 as soon as possible,? he said. (godang/giok)
