Medco?s 2010 net profit soars

Indonesia-listed energy firm PT Medco Energi Internasional said that its audited 2010 net profit soared more than five folds as revenue from energy sales increased.
Net income jumped to US$83.06 million in 2010 from $19.23 million a year earlier, Medco said in a filing to the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Thursday. Sales were also up to $929.85 million from $667.80 million in the same period of last year. (denny)
