Medco's DTSA to commence production by 2014

Indonesia emerging coal mining company, PT Medco Energi Mining International is expecting to start producing coal from PT Duta Tambang Sumber Alam's (DTSA) concession in Nunukan, by second semester of 2014.
Arie Prabowo Ariotedjo, Managing Director Medco Energi Mining told Petromindo.com that DTSA planned to produce up to 300,000 ton per year.
Currently, the company is continuing with plans to conduct further exploration drilling at the concession.
''Hopefully by 2015, we will have a stable production at one million ton per year both from Duta Tambang Rekayasa and Duta Tambang Sumber Alam,'' he said adding that the production phase in DTSA will be depending on the forestry license.
The company has two concessions located in Nunukan.
