Medco?s Pidawan-1 well flows gas at 7.48 mmscfd

Australian listed company CityView Corporation Limited said on Monday it had received the preliminary test results at the zone 1 of Pidawan-1 well from its Joint Venture partner PT Medco Energi International Tbk.

CityView said during the first one hour test, through 32/64-inch choke, gas flowed at the rate of 7.48 million cubic feet per day (MMSCFD), and condensate at the rate of 200 barrels per day (BPD). Fluid produced at the rate of 1,426 BPD at 85 percent of water.

For the next eight hours, fluid production increased to 100 percent water and no condensate was produced. Gas flow decreased to 1.8 MMSCFD.

Furthermore, Medco will release the final test results after the completion of the testing program for the well, CityView said.

CityView said Medco is currently preparing to move to zone 2 to continue the test program.

Pidawan-1 well is located in Medco?s Simenggaris Joint Operation Block.

CityView is free carried by Medco throughout the current work programs and has a 25 percent gross interest in Simenggaris block. (robert)
