JSX-listed energy firm PT.Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. said production restart of Camar oil filed in Bawean PSC offshore East java might be delayed again to May this year due to ?technical problems?, a company official said.

The field was originally scheduled to recommence production February this year.

Bawean block, which is operated by Medco, had proven and probable reserves of 14.72MMBO. Camar field began production on January 2001 and had been stopped since August 2004 due to the absence of storage tanker at that site.
