Medco says oil production exceeds target

PT Medco E&P Indonesia, an upstream unit of IDX-listed energy PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. firm said on Tuesday its oil production by August has reached 30,974 barrel per day (bpd), exceeding this year?s target which has been set at 29,690 bpd.
?Realization of year to date of August 2010 reached 30,974 bpd. So far we have met our target set for the third quarter,? VP relation Aditya Mandala told Petromindo.com , adding that average gas production now stood at 145 bbtupd.
The company is upbeat to produce 54,780 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) this year. (godang)
