Medco spuds E. Java well

ASX-listed firm CityView Corp. said on Monday that Konang-3 exploration well in Madura JOB block onshore East Java was spudded on August 8, 2006.
The company said that the well has the target depth of 4,920 feet with Kujung formation as the target area.
The block is operated by JSX-listed oil firm Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. CityView owns a direct 2.65 percent interest in the block. (alex)
