Medco temporarily suspends drilling E. Java Sebaya-1 well

ASX listed company CityView Limited said on Tuesday that its joint venture partner and operator of Madura Joint Operation Block (JOB) in East Java, PT Medco Energi International Tbk had temporarily suspended its drilling program on Sebaya-1 well.
Medco decided to suspend the well after none of the four intended zones flows oil or gas.
The rig is in the process of rigging down and moving off location, CityView said.
State oil and gas firm Pertamina has 35 percent interest in Madura JOB, while CityView, Medco and Falcon Oil Pte. Ltd hold 16.25 percent, 24.75 percent and 24 percent, respectively. (robert)
