Medco to produce 90,000 bpd next year: Chairman

Chairman of PT Medco Energy International John S. Karamoy said on Wednesday that the company was projected to be able to increase oil production to 90,000 bpd from 80,000 bpd expected for this year.
He also said that Medco was developing an extension block called Matra Nova in South Sumatra.
He said the block had an oil potential of between 60-80,000 bpd.
He said that other oil development projects in South Sumatra, Madura, Sulawesi and Kalimantan were progressing well.(Godang)
