Medco to resume explorations in Yemen

PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk, listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange, plans to resume exploration activities at its Block 83 and Block 84 in Yemen.
The company halted exploration on the blocks due to political turmoil in the country, forcing Medco staffs to move out from the country.
Medco explored the two blocks through its subsidiary Medco Yaman Holding Ltd. Medco is the operator of the two blocks.
?We are gearing up to resume exploration in Yemen ? Block 83 and 84. Seismic activities will begin next month,? CEO of PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk Lukman Mahfoedz told Petromindo.com.
