Medco updates drilling at Lagan Deep-1A at SCS block

PT Medco EP Indonesia (MEPI) said the Lagan Deep-1A well at the South & Central Sumatra (SCS) block, in South Sumatra has been drilled to a depth of 6,650 feet MD (minimum depth) as of the end of November.

In an update of the drilling program which started on Aug. 22, 2013, the company?s Corporate Secretary, Imron Gazali told Petromindo.com said that the target depth (TD) of the well is 11,300 feet MD.

?Total drilling cost as of end of November 2013 was US$14,938,767,? Imron added.

The SCS block, located onshore in the South and Central Sumatra basin, covers an area of 6,493 sq km. MEPI holds 40 percent interest in the block.
