MedcoEnergi secures $100 million loan facility from HSBC

Energy and mining firm PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MedcoEnergi) (IDX:MEDC) has secured a $100 million loan facility from The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) to support its general corporate funding needs.

In a disclosure submitted to Indonesia’s capital market regulator, the company said it signed a facility agreement with HSBC’s Singapore branch on March 10, 2026. Under the agreement, MedcoEnergi acts as both borrower and guarantor.
The loan facility amounts to $100 million and will have a maturity of 60 months from the signing date of the agreement. The funding will be available to the company and its subsidiary, Medco Energi Global Pte. Ltd., for general corporate purposes.
