Megapower doubles capacity of Bangka power plant

IDX-listed power producer PT Megapower Makmur Tbk has recently doubled the installed capacity of its PLTD Muntok diesel-fired power plant in Bangka Barat Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, to 6 MW.
?The total installed capacity of the PLTD Muntok is now 6 MW,? Megawapower President Director, Kang Jimmi said on Thursday as quoted by Antara news agency, adding that the higher capacity has been effective since October 10.
He said that this will help increase the company?s revenue performance this year.
Megapower currently operates eight PLTDs in several parts of the country and one mini hydro power plant in South Sulawesi, Antara said. (*)
