MEMI Q1 coal exports reach 155,000 tons

Coal mining company PT Medco Energi Mining International (MEMI) exported 155,000 tons of coal from its concession PT Duta Tambang Rekayasa, in Nunukan regency, North Kalimantan in the first quarter of 2015.

CEOArie Prabowo Ariotedjo told Petromindo.com on Tuesday that most the coal was exported to India. ?But in March 2015 we delivered one Supramax vessel to Bangladesh,? he said adding that another one vessel will be sent to Bangladesh in April 2015.

The company is targeting about 600,000 tons of production this year and all of the coal is for exports.
