MEMR launches geothermal online applications

The ministry of energy and mineral resources (MEMR) has launched the geothermal online-based applications.

The MEMR stated in a press release on Friday that the applications were launched during a ceremony to present awards on the management of occupational safety and health, and environmental protection (K3L2) to a number of companies involve in geothermal power plants on Thursday night in Kuta, Bali.

The online-based applications are the application of geothermal technique, monitoring system, and the foreign workers information system.

The application of geothermal technique will make it easier for the geothermal companies in filing their demands for certifications of equipment, installations, and techniques used in geothermal projects.

The monitoring system will help companies to report to the ministry on the progress of their projects, while the foreign workers information system will help companies in managing foreign workers, especially on licensing.

?These applications are part of our efforts to improve the quality of public services, so that we can make it faster simple, transparent, and integrated,? said Rida.
