Mercator Lines acquires stake in Indonesian coal mines

India?s top shipping firm Mercator Lines reported on Wednesday it had acquired an economic interest in two coal licenses in Indonesia.
The company did not give the exact location of the mine, but said that coal resources at the licenses are 15 million tones.
?The work in Indonesia is in advanced stage and the operating revenues would be generated in the financial year 2008-2009,? the company said in a report to the Bombay Stock Exchange. (alex)
