Mercuria?s coal unit ships more cargo

South Kalimantan coal miner PT Kalimantan Energi Lestari (KEL), a coal unit of Singapore-based Mercuria Energy Trading Pte Ltd, has shipped its coal to a Chinese buyer this month.
The vessel?s name is MV.Qi Xiang with volume of 75,000 tons.
KEL started first production in October this year targeting 50,000 tons in the first month of production then ramping it up to between 250,000 and 300,000 tons per month. The coal has CV of 5,900 kcal/kg (GAR).
According to the source, all the coal from KEL has already been booked by its existing buyer until the end of this year.
